TEXAS HAS ITS FIRST ALL SPARKLING WINE FACILITY

The Texas Wine industry is maturing with a world-class winery producing sparkling wine in Texas using Texas grapes. Several Texas wineries produce sparkling wines, but Heath Sparkling Wines does it in a big Texas way. This state-of-the-art winery has the capacity to produce over 25,000 cases annually and is the first all-sparkling winery in the State of Texas. This Texas winery uses the traditional, age-old Méthode Champenoise used by the various sparkling wine houses in Champagne. This labor-intensive process produces sparkling wines with very fine wine bubbles which is one of the marks of a truly great sparkling wine. These Texas sparkler are made from mostly Texas grapes.
Guests coming to visit this winery will enjoy a progressive tasting experience, beginning with two sparkling wines while exploring and experiencing the craft of making sparkling wines in the step by step process established by the French Monk, Dom Perignon, centuries ago. Health Sparkling Wines is housed in a striking modern architecture facility, but is big in tried, old fashioned methods of making sparkling wines. With tirage (sampling, tasting and testing of the barrel wines) underway for the 2025 vintage, the first bottling complete, and riddling set to begin this fall, it’s an exciting moment to get a behind-the-scenes look at what promises to be a big wine experience in the Texas Hill Country. Texans now have a choice in drinking several extraordinary Texas sparklers via the Heath Sparkling Wine brand. The demand for these wines is so great, but you will not find them in the stores due to such demand. Presently, these wines are only available at the winery near Fredericksburg. I suggest you order your special Texas sparklers for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve.

He is one of the most decorated winemakers in Texas having received over 190 scores of 90+ for his wine creations along with earning over one thousand medals with his wines. Jason graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. After eight years at Llano Estacado Winery in Lubbock, he came to Heath Family Brands in 2004 and has been earning Double Gold Medals, Gold Medals, and Best of Shows for the wines he is creating. Health Family Brands consists of

I look for more great Texas wineries becoming a part of the Heath Family Brands. This winery group was established in 2006 when Brian Heath purchased Grape Creek Vineyards. Brian and wife Jennifer own/manager hundreds of acres of Texas vineyards along with five wineries while employing over 150.
