Texas Hill Country Wine Camp
The Texas Hill Country Wineries will provide for those fortunate few an immersive venture into Texas wines in one of the most popular wine regions in the Country. The wineries and winemakers around Fredericksburg have carefully crafted a weekend of wine to educate you and your palette while having an immersive wine experience starting Friday, July 17th. This inclusive wine tour of Texas wines will provide you with an outstanding opportunity to learn about Texas’ 24-billion-dollar wine industry. Texas got its first winery after Prohibition basically shut down the entire wine industry in the USA fifty years ago during our Country’s Bi-Centennial celebration. A lot has happened since 1976 when Llano Estacado begun with the number of wineries approaching 1,000 in Texas.
The Carter Creek Winery near Johnson City will host a Texas wine tasting from 5 to 7pm that Friday. Kick off Hill Country Wine Camp with an immersive evening celebrating Spanish-inspired Texas wines. Enjoy a walk-around tasting featuring eight Texas wineries, each pouring Spanish varietals thoughtfully selected to pair with dishes influenced by Spanish cuisine. It’s a relaxed, flavorful introduction to the weekend. Discover new favorites while connecting with the people and stories behind the wines. The next day, check in at Becker for a full day of immersive activities which include:

On Sunday, July 19th, Wrap up Hill Country Wine Camp at the Texas Wine Collective near Fredericksburg with a relaxed, enriching Sunday morning experience. Enjoy brunch paired with a selection of Texas sparkling wines, highlighting the versatility and elegance of bubbles with a variety of flavors. Dive into an engaging educational session focused on the art and science of wine judging. Learn how wines are evaluated in competitions, what judges look for, and how scoring systems work. This will provide you a deeper understanding of quality, style, and what sets award-winning wines apart. It’s the perfect finale to the weekend, blending enjoyment with insight you can take with you long after the last glass. Activities include:
