The Texas Department of Agriculture has designated the entire month of October as TEXAS WINE MONTH. October, 2021, just like October, 2020, will be unlike any other prior month of celebrating Texas Wines. The grapes are being harvested with anticipation of being the basis for more medal-winning Texas Wines.
October will be an interesting month with several of the eighteen Texas Wine Trails actually hosting wine trail events. Ticket prices are $30 for an individual or $54 for a couple (plus tax and fees). This is a substantial SAVINGS compared to separate wine flight costs at each winery.
Over 45 of the 60 trail wineries in the Texas Hill Country Wine Trail are participating on the wine trail during the month of October. The eleven wineries in the Dallas Town and Country Wine Trail will be hosting Wine Celebrations in October to celebrate Texas Wine Month. Please remember that most wineries are closed on Mondays, but reservations are a MUST!
